Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law

We are witnessing the revival of magick on the scales unprecedented since the ancient times. One has to take a mere glance around to notice that nearly everyone is aware on some level of such magical preliminaries as “positive thoughts create reality”, “manifestation of desires”, “personal growth”, “building a self-fulfilling lifestyle”, “attainment of personal happiness & freedom”, “finding your purpose in life” and many more similar concepts which are considered to be a common knowledge to everyone today.

We have gotten accustomed so much to this new form and way of thinking that it seems to us like it was always so, which is far from the truth. Just 20 years back such ideas were only known by the few who actually practiced magick, and everyone who attempted to put these concepts into practice openly was viewed with no little suspicion and mistrust. Let’s say a century or two back just talking about “influencing your reality” in some way or another would be enough of an accusation to get you burned at the stake for heresy & witchcraft.

Make no mistake, such concepts which are commonplace now are in fact Magick itself, which is a Science and Art of causing change to occur in conformity with will. Be assured, that it is being practiced more often than people care to admit, whether privately, openly or both.

When it comes to multitudes using these forces in an attempt to influence the reality in their own individual favor, the karma of such a turn of events is most fascinating to observe from the perspective of the evolution of the entire species.

Over all, it is a phenomenon which will continue to spread, change and refine itself as time goes on. Those who refuse to evolve and become a better version of themselves will naturally be left behind as unfit elements that do not possess the necessary qualities to survive in such a new wave of evolution that we are seeing today.

This in fact is the beginning of an entirely new form of civilization that grows within the bowels of the previous one, a new step for humanity as a whole. One has to remember what happened to all other species in our genome when homo sapience established themselves as an apex predator; there was eventually simply no place left for those who lived the old way of life.

Despite Magick becoming common place in the world, many still struggle with translating their will into reality, others spend years in deluding themselves of progress & growth while merely repeating the old worn out patters, still others use it only when they need it without realizing that the consciousness of a magician and the exorcist is a continuous never ending state for someone who is always in charge of his or her magical circle.

Yet it is of no big surprise that for many people things don’t work out exactly as they have attempted to manifest them. Serious magick has only just began to work its way into the world, it will take centuries more when humanity as a whole will finally master these forces. It can of course occur much, much sooner then I would expect, and I am always optimistic in this regard.

It is understandable that those who lack proper instruction or training stumble their way through thick bushes, cross large deserts with no oasis in sight, learn through one’s own trial & error. But the willingness to do so and committing yourself to conquer the conditions of material and spiritual existence is the first sign that real growth is taking place, as it is written, Aspiration is Strength.

In reality, authentic aspiration is the only force that can push one forward and make one evolve into a being more powerful than you could ever imagine. You can be putting a huge effort into manifesting great deal of things in your life, in some you may even succeed and think you’ve finally made it while in reality one is remaining on the same level as one always was or even worse, descend so deep into the dark cold well of self-delusion making it virtually impossible to climb back up.

Certainly, there are dangers to magick just as there was a great risk & danger in transforming a hunter-gatherer lifestyle to farming. I would imagine others laughing at someone who had invented a wheel and thought it would be a good idea to domesticate wild prey that was until then only been hunted. Yet it all took trial & error, and there should be no judgment of those who err, even if they don’t learn on their mistakes at first, time shows everything.

But those who do learn from experience will readily understand that there is more to using magick then simply having a strong desire to manifest something into reality. I see this often, someone authentically and strongly “desiring” and manifesting something, yet unable neither to detect the forces of the change nor understand that which has occurred. The problem isn’t with the manifestation of the force, but with the level of operator. Yet again, the magical times are still young.

There are levels to will deeper then it would appear at the first glance. What happens magically is that when time comes, manifestation occurs. The time comes when you have grown enough for these manifested forces to serve you in their best & fullest capacity.

But even this is misleading without understanding first that the direction of growth is always determined by the nature of the forces you continuously invoke. By making yourself one with the forces you invoke, you grow in it to fully appreciate that which they have to offer on all planes of existence.

Moreover, as you evolve in that particular force, the understanding of what you really want evolves along with you. It so happens that if one sets out to simply manifest something that one desires ends up accomplishing much, much more than one had originally thought.

You become that which you invoke and you grow in that particular direction using your own vision as a mighty foresight of that which is inevitable; the attainment of Initiation with a total shift of perspective into yet higher and deeper understanding of your goal and purpose in life. This my friends is the inevitable destiny of humanity as magick returns to the world power.
